What can I do to improve my dive skills and explore new adventures in diving?

As a certified scuba diver you’ve already experienced the thrill of exploring parts of the underwater world, but know there’s more to discover. Whether you’re looking for new dive adventures, to improve your scuba skills, or both at once, taking another PADI dive course will help you gain more confidence and meet more dive buddies.

What courses do you recommend?

The most common next step for Open Water Divers is to complete the Advanced Open Water or Adventure Diver course. Both introduce you to new avenues of diving, focus on improving specific skills, and are just plain FUN! The great thing is that most of the dives you will do in your Advanced or Adventure dive course will apply towards your certification in a Specialty Diver course! Ask your instructor for more details.

Another option is to focus on Specialty Dives first. Specialty diver courses teach you the right way to have special dive adventures, so you don’t have to learn on your own. Who wants to night dive for the first time without a PADI Instructor by your side? You may even get credit for dives toward your Advanced Open Water Diver certification.

After you earn your Advanced Open Water course, you can enroll in the Rescue Diver course. If you REALLY want to be the best of the best, consider the Master SCUBA Diver certification!
